Rapid Critical Metals Limited has revealed a series of impressive silver assay results from its ongoing drilling program at the Webbs Silver Project in northern New South Wales. The findings, which include a notable intercept of 4m at 1,230 g/t AgEQ from hole WSRC0019 have significantly enhanced the understanding of the project’s potential.
The latest assays, covering 20 holes, have not only confirmed the known lode but also expanded the scale of the Webbs ore body, particularly to the south. These results have boosted confidence in parts of the ore body, potentially elevating significant portions to higher resource classifications. The exceptional grades and widths observed in these intercepts underscore the project’s promising future.
Standout Intercepts and Mineralised Corridor
The standout intercept, WSRC0019 yielded 4m at 1,230 g/t AgEQ from 136m, within a broader 37.4m intersection grading 278.8 g/t AgEQ. This result highlights both the grade and width of the mineralisation. Additionally, hole WSRC0028 returned 7m at 641.8 g/t AgEQ from 75m, further confirming the high-grade nature of the mineralisation.
Another significant finding was the extension of mineralisation more than 300m south of the current resource, as evidenced by hole WSRC0012 which intersected 2m at 118.0 g/t AgEQ from 117m. These results suggest that the Webbs system is not a single lode but a broader mineralised corridor hosting stacked or parallel lodes.
Geological Interpretation and Future Plans
The spatial distribution of the new intersections supports the evolving geological model that Webbs is a mineralised corridor rather than a single lode. This interpretation is crucial for planning future exploration and drilling activities. Rapid Critical Metals is progressing plans for an expanded exploration program across its New South Wales silver portfolio in 2026.
Key plans include follow-up drilling to test the interpreted parallel lodes and the new southern extension at Webbs. The company also aims to continue resource growth and discovery drilling along the Webbs–Webbs Consol corridor. Environmental approvals have been received for the Webbs Consol Project, and a third drill rig is set to join the current program within weeks.
