MetaMask is a crypto wallet that serves as a gateway to decentralized finance based on Ethereum (DeFi) and the NFT ecosystem. It is available both as a browser-based add-on for Firefox and Google Chrome, and as a mobile app for iOS and Android.

Whether you choose to use the mobile or desktop version, you will need to download the app from, create a wallet, set a password, and save the recovery phrase.
