LaFleur Minerals Prepares for Gold Production in Abitibi

LaFleur Minerals, a Canadian company listed on the CNSX as LFLR is making significant strides toward becoming a gold producer. The company is fully permitted and funded to restart operations at its Beacon Gold Mill and develop the Swanson Gold Deposit both located in Quebec’s Abitibi Gold Belt one of Canada’s most prolific gold-producing regions.

The company’s vision is to evolve from an explorer to a gold producer between 2026 and 2027, capitalizing on the significant upside potential in this major jurisdiction. This transition is supported by substantial exploration data and recent financing efforts.

Exploration and Development Potential

The Swanson Gold Project is a cornerstone of LaFleur Minerals’ strategy. As the company’s flagship advanced exploration stage project it boasts over 36,000 meters of historical drilling. Additionally, LaFleur has completed over 25,000 meters of drilling at the LaFleur property highlighting the extensive exploration and development potential of the region.

The project’s updated mineral resource estimate for 2026 indicates 160.3 kilo ounces of gold in the indicated category and 66.8 kilo ounces in the inferred category. These figures underscore the substantial gold reserves that LaFleur Minerals aims to exploit.

Restarting the Beacon Gold Mill

The Beacon Gold Mill is a critical component of LaFleur Minerals’ production plans. Scheduled to restart by the end of 2026, the mill has a processing capacity of over 750 tons per day. This capacity will enable the company to produce gold not only from the Swanson deposit but also from other nearby gold deposits, enhancing its

To support these ambitious plans, LaFleur Minerals closed a public offering amounting to C$11 million in June 2026. This funding will be instrumental in recommissioning the Beacon Gold Mill and conducting additional drilling at the Swanson deposit.

Strategic Growth and Investor Confidence

Marc Ducharme, vice president for Exploration at LaFleur Minerals, highlighted the company’s strategic growth initiatives and the importance of building investor confidence. He noted that while individual drill holes may not immediately impact the project’s trajectory, the wide areas of mineralization being intersected during exploration are promising. Ducharme expressed optimism about the potential for discovering additional significant gold deposits within the project area.

The company’s plans are further supported by a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for the Swanson Gold Project and the planned restart of the Beacon Gold Mill. With gold prices remaining well above historical levels, LaFleur Minerals expects to benefit from strong margins and solid returns from its operations.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on the development of district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d’Or, Québec. The company’s mission is to advance mining projects with a laser focus on its PEA-stage Swanson Gold Project and the Beacon Gold Mill, which have significant potential to deliver long-term value. The Swanson Gold Project is approximately 19,214 hectares (192 km 2 ) in size and includes several prospects rich in gold and critical metals previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. LaFleur has consolidated a large land package along a major structural break that hosts the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits and several other showings which make up the Swanson Gold Project. The Swanson Gold Project is easily accessible by road allowing direct access to several nearby gold mills, further enhancing its development potential. LaFleur Minerals’ recently refurbished Beacon Gold Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day and is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects. LaFleur recently released the results of a positive Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) for the company’s Swanson Gold Project and the planned restart of the Beacon Gold Mill.
