What is the 2024 Stork Bonus
The Stork Bonus is an annual economic contribution provided by the INPS to the children of employees or retirees of Poste Italiane or the former IPost. The measure, introduced to support newborns or adoptees, is part of an aid package for families, such as the Single Universal Allowance for
children.
For the year 2024, the Stork Bonus is provided for children born or adopted between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023.
Who is entitled to
The Stork Bonus 2024 is intended for children or orphans of:
•Employees of the Poste Italiane S.p.A. Group
•Ex-iPost employees subject to a monthly deduction of 0.40% (art. 3, law no. 208/1952).
•Retired people who are already employees of the Poste Italiane Group or the former IPost.
Requirements for Submitting the Application
The application may be submitted by:
•The holder of the benefit (parent of the child born or adopted).
•The owner’s spouse in the event of the latter’s death (surviving parent).
•The other parent, even if not married to the owner, in the event of death or loss of parental responsibility of the owner.
•The legal guardian of the child or orphan child of the benefit holder.
The application for the Stork Bonus is compatible with the request for other contributions, such as the Nursery Bonus, always intended for the children of employees or retirees of Poste Italiane or the former IPost.
Bonus Value and Payment Methods
The Stork Bonus 2024 has a value of 500 euros. The amount will be credited to
:
•Italian bank or postal account.
•Prepaid card enabled to receive bank transfers from Public Administrations.
It will not be possible to receive the contribution on postal savings books. The ranking for the award of the bonus will be based on the ISEE value of the family unit, and in the event of an equal ISEE, the son of the owner with the longest seniority of enrollment in the IPOST Fund Management will have priority

How to Apply for the INPS 2024 Stork Bonus
The application for the Stork Bonus 2024 can be submitted online through the INPS Welfare Performance Portal from 12:00 on September 24, 2024 until 12:00 on October 31, 2024. To log in, you must authenticate with SPID, CIE or CNS credentials

Steps for submitting the application:
1. Access the INPS Welfare Performance Portal.
2.Click on ‘Access the thematic area’ and select ‘Ipost Stork Bonus’.
3. Fill in the request form, entering the required data, such as the IBAN code for crediting the bonus and the ISEE certificate.
Compilation of the Application
In the application it is mandatory to enter:
•The IBAN code of the bank account or prepaid card.
•The ISEE certificate is valid.
•In case of adoption, attach the decision of the competent authority certifying the adoption that took place in 2023.
If there are several beneficiaries in the family unit, an application must be submitted for each child.
Deadline and Application Verification
The deadline for submitting the application is October 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. The applicant must verify the outcome of the application within 7 working days from the deadline (by November 12, 2024) through the Welfare Performance Portal

Cicogna 2024 Bonus Rankings
The ranking will be drawn up by the INPS based on the ISEE value of the family unit. In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the children of owners with a higher seniority of enrollment in the IPOST Fund Management. The ranking will be published on the INPS website after the closing of the
call.
