Trident announces $150,000 fee for investor-awareness email campaign

Trident Resources Corp. (TSXV: ROCK) has issued a supplemental notice at the request of the TSX Venture Exchange. The notice restates and expands upon a September 21, 2026 release that introduced an engagement with Freedom Financial Research, LLC (FFR) to run a focused investor-awareness initiative.

Founded as a Gold-exploration company operating primarily in Saskatchewan’s La Ronge Gold Belt, Trident is seeking to raise its profile among retail investors while it advances drilling programs at its wholly-owned Contact Lake project. The company’s latest move ties a $150,000, 30-day marketing contract to a series of eight targeted email communications.

Freedom Financial Research – scope and reach

FFR is a limited-liability company headquartered at 435 Merchant Walk Square, Suite 300-64, Charlottesville, Virginia 22902, United States. It positions itself as a financial research and publishing firm that creates investor-centric newsletters and distributes them via email. The firm manages several subscriber lists, including the Freedom Financial News, Kiyosaki Uncensored, Kiyosaki’s Money, Power and Profit, and Kiyosaki’s Private Playbook. According to FFR, these audiences together comprise more than one million readers predominantly self-directed retail investors located in the United States. Interested parties can reach the firm at (877) 884-4030 or support@.

Christopher Carroll – the partner driving the campaign

Christopher Carroll serves as the Managing Partner of FFR and will personally oversee the services outlined in the agreement. Operating from the company’s Charlottesville office, Carroll brings a background in financial publishing and investor communications. From 2017 until February 2025 he held the role of Publisher at Paradigm Press, a Baltimore-based newsletter publisher. Since November 2020, he has also been a member of Capella Group LLC in Charlottesville, and between 2002 and 2019 he owned Livingry Inc., a private firm based in Marrero, Louisiana.

Terms of the marketing agreement

On September 11, 2026 Trident entered into an agreement with FFR, later amended on October 1, 2026, that defines the FFR Services. The scope includes strategic campaign planning, narrative development and copywriting based on publicly disclosed company information, and the distribution of eight dedicated email communications – two to each of the four subscriber audiences. The timing of each send is aligned with Trident’s news releases and public disclosures, ensuring relevance and maximizing engagement. Reporting on delivery metrics and audience interaction will be provided after the campaign concludes.

Crucially, the agreement grants Trident full control over all content. Every email draft, target audience list, and scheduled send date must be approved in writing by the company before any distribution occurs. FFR may not subcontract any portion of the work without explicit written consent from Trident. The contract expressly excludes any social-media or broader digital-marketing activities, limiting the effort to email-only outreach.

The engagement runs for a 30-day term which began on September 21, 2026, the day the campaign was launched. In exchange for the services, Trident will pay a fixed fee of US$150,000, payable in full upon signing. The fee represents the total consideration; no additional expenses, third-party costs, or equity compensation are required. The amount is drawn from the company’s working capital, and no securities will be issued to FFR or Mr. Carroll as part of the payment.

Both parties confirm that they are operating at arm’s length. Neither FFR nor Mr. Carroll, nor any of their directors, officers, owners, or managers, hold any direct or indirect interest in Trident’s securities, nor have they expressed any intention to acquire such an interest. FFR has also committed that its personnel will refrain from trading Trident’s shares throughout the contract period, reinforcing compliance with securities regulations.

The agreement remains subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange, which initially prompted the supplementary disclosure. Trident’s leadership, including CEO Jonathan Wiesblatt, maintains that the partnership will enhance visibility among a broad base of U.S. retail investors while preserving strict editorial oversight.
