How to connect Uniswap to Trust Wallet

At Uniswap, you can exchange Ethereum for another token.

But before you can do that, you must first link a wallet to Uniswap.

Then, you will be able to use the Ethereum of your wallet to exchange for another token.

Uniswap allows you to connect to different wallets including “MetaMask” and “WalletConnect”.

However, you may have noticed that there is no “Trust Wallet” option.

Also, in June 2021, Trust Wallet removed the DApp browser.

This is in accordance with Apple’s App Store guidelines.

So, you won’t be able to use the DApp browser on Trust Wallet.

Instead, you have to use Uniswap on a browser like Safari or Chrome.

In this guide, you will learn how to connect Uniswap to Trust Wallet on a mobile browser like Safari or Chrome.

How to connect Uniswap to Trust Wallet

To connect Uniswap to Trust Wallet, open Uniswap on a mobile browser and tap “Connect Wallet”.

Then, you can use WalletConnect to connect to Trust Wallet.

After connecting Uniswap to Trust Wallet, you will be able to exchange Ethereum for another token.

However, you must first have some Ethereum on Trust Wallet.

If you don’t, you can buy it from Binance and withdraw it to your Ethereum wallet at Trust Wallet.

Since removing the DApp browser on Trust Wallet in June 2021, you will not be able to use Uniswap on Trust Wallet.

Then, you need to use Uniswap on a browser.

If you’re using a mobile device, you can visit Uniswap on Safari or Chrome.

On the Uniswap exchange, you can connect to Trust Wallet using WalletConnect.

1. Open Uniswap and connect to “WalletConnect”

The first step is to open Uniswap and connect to “WalletConnect”.

First, open a mobile browser like Safari or Chrome.

In this guide, we will use the Safari browser.

If you’re using an Android device, you can open Chrome instead.

Once you are on a mobile browser, go to the Uniswap website.

On the exchange page, you will see a “Connect Wallet” button.

Tap on the “Connect Wallet” button.

You can also tap on the “Connect to a wallet” button at the bottom of the page.

After tapping “Connect wallet” or “Connect to a wallet”, a navigation drawer will open.

In the navigation drawer, you will be able to connect to three different wallets.

Wallets include “WalletConnect”, “Open in Coinbase Wallet” and “Fortmatic”.

You may have noticed that there is no “Trust Wallet” option.

Then, you need to use WalletConnect to connect Uniswap to Trust Wallet.

Tap “WalletConnect” to open WalletConnect.

2. Connect to “Trust”

After tapping on “WalletConnect”, a pop-up will open.

In the pop-up, you will see a list of wallets that you can choose from.

This includes “Rainbow”, “Trust”, “Argent” and others.

Tap “Trust” to connect to Trust Wallet.

If you are using Uniswap on a desktop browser, a QR code will be displayed.

You need to scan the QR code using the QR code scanner on Trust Wallet.

You can find it by going to Trust Wallet > WalletConnect > Settings.

After scanning the QR code, tap “Connect” to connect Trust Wallet to Uniswap.

After tapping on “Trust”, a pop-up message will open.

Here is the pop-up message, “Open in “Trust”?”.

The pop-up message prompts you to open the page on Trust Wallet.

Tap “Open” to open the page on Trust Wallet.

3. Connect Trust Wallet to Uniswap

After tapping “Open”, Trust Wallet will open.

On Trust Wallet, you will be prompted to connect to the Uniswap interface.

Tap “Connect” to connect to the Uniswap interface.

If you don’t see the “Connect” button, it means you’re having a loading problem.

To resolve this issue, force close the Trust Wallet app and repeat the second step.

Forcing the Trust Wallet app to close will solve most of the uploading issues.

After tapping “Connect”, go back to Uniswap on your mobile browser.

If the connection is successful, you will see your Trust Wallet address at the bottom of the page.

In other words, the “Connect to a wallet” button should be replaced with the trust wallet address.

If the connection fails, you’ll still see the “Connect to a wallet” button.

In that case, you need to repeat the steps again.

Now that you have linked Trust Wallet to Uniswap, you will be able to exchange tokens!

Keep in mind that you must have enough Ethereum balance to trade for another token.

If you don’t have Ethereum, you need to buy it from a cryptocurrency exchange like Binance and transfer it to Trust Wallet first.

Conclusion

Uniswap allows you to connect to different cryptocurrency wallets.

The exchange does not have a “Trust Wallet” option, but you can use “WalletConnect” to connect to Trust Wallet.

Since removing the DApp browser on Trust Wallet for iOS devices, you can only use Uniswap on one browser.

Alternatively, you can use another cryptocurrency wallet like MetaMask to link it to Uniswap.
