Utility Manager Academy (UMA) announces 5 new locations: courses and masters dedicated to the Utility Manager

Utility Manager Academy (UMA) is the first training school exclusively aimed at training the figure of the Utility Manager. The institute has announced the imminent opening of 5 new offices in Italy.

The utility industry is evolving

The figure of the Utility Manager becomes increasingly popular. The official definition of the skills of the new professional figure was clearly specified for the first time almost two and a half years ago with the dissemination of the UNI 11782: 2020 standard. In just over two years, thanks to Uni and Assium, bodies active in the protection of the market and citizens through standardization, training projects aimed at the sector have grown. In this context, the projects of Utility Manager Academy (UMA) were born, a vertical training school that sponsors basic courses aimed at agents, purchasing managers, brokers and professionals operating in the field of electricity, gas, connectivity and telephony utility contracts.

At the beginning of the year, UMA created a new development program active throughout Italy, making use of the involvement of authoritative utility management players, and established the first local offices based on training and certifications in compliance with the UNI 11782: 2020 standard.

The UMA, therefore, is one of the first schools that has as its objective the training of the Utility Manager, considered a crucial tool to renew the utility management sector. In addition, UMA has had the opportunity to expand and establish new offices and new digital access points at historical and reliable players in various Italian regions, benefiting from the standardization by UNI and the investments made by investors in the sector.
