A twist in Italian luxury
The Italian luxury world has recently witnessed an important acquisition that could change the dynamics of the sector. LMDV Capital, led by Leonardo Maria del Vecchio, has formalized the agreement for the acquisition of the Twiga brand and four locations of the Majestas Group, owned by Flavio Briatore. Although the financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed, the impact of this strategic move is already evident.
Flavio Briatore’s new course
Flavio Briatore commented on the sale, stressing that his renewed commitment to Formula One, as head of the Alpine Formula One Team, requires total concentration and a significant time commitment. This has made it necessary to have less involvement in the operational management of the Majestas Group. Despite this, the group continues to develop the Billionaire and Crazy Pizza brands, achieving excellent results thanks to a team of highly qualified collaborators

LMDV Capital’s expansion strategy
The acquisition of the Twiga brand is part of a larger strategic plan of LMDV Capital, which aims to integrate Twiga into its high-end restaurant ecosystem, represented by the Triple Sea Food group. With this agreement, Triple Sea Food is preparing to become one of the main protagonists of luxury hospitality in Italy. The combined sales of the two companies are estimated at around 50 million euros for 2024, with a workforce of 600 employees.
Growth prospects and new openings
Despite the acquisition, LMDV Capital has no intention of stopping. With new openings already planned for 2025, the group expects to exceed 60 million euros in turnover. In the last 24 months, Triple Sea Food has experienced exponential growth, managing five locations and three brands: Vesta Milano, Vesta Forte dei Marmi and Vesta Paraggi, as well as Casa Fiori Chiari Milano and Trattoria del Ciumbia Milano,
with a total of 250 employees.
Innovations in locations
One of the most anticipated news is the inauguration of a Vesta restaurant in the location of the Twiga in Monte Carlo. In addition, Billionaire’s location in Porto Cervo will be transformed into Twiga, hosting Casa Fiori Chiari and Vesta. These transformations will not only enrich the gastronomic offer, but will also help to strengthen the group’s presence in the Italian luxury scene
