What is the Sports Aid Bonus for the Disabled

Who can claim the Bonus
The application for access to the bonus can only be submitted by Amateur Sports Associations (ASD) or Amateur Sports Clubs (SSD), to which the athletes who are the final recipients of the contribution are registered. The requirements are as follows:
- the athlete must be resident in Italy;
- must have a disability recognized according to the criteria of the International Paralympic Committee;
- must be registered for an ASD or SSD affiliated with a Sports Federation recognized by the Italian Paralympic Committee.
Each ASD or SSD can apply for a maximum of 3 athletes if they are individual sports and for 5 athletes in the case of team sports. Athletes who have already benefited from contributions for the same sports discipline in the past cannot apply for the bonus

How to Claim the Bonus
Questions can be submitted through a dedicated online platform. The ASD or SSD must register, providing the following data:
- tax code of the ASD or SSD;
- e-mail address;
- bank details (IBAN).
Once registration is complete, the system will automatically generate a username and password. This data will be used to access the platform and submit the application for a contribution for each athlete

Funded Sports Aids
The bonus can be used to purchase specific sports aids, which must comply with the technical regulations of the Paralympic disciplines.
