Resto Qui 2024: Contributions and Financing for Companies in Seismic and Lagoon Zones

Resto Qui is the extension of the “Rest in the South” incentive designed to support the birth and development of new businesses or freelance activities in the areas affected by the earthquake and in the lagoon areas of Central-Northern Italy. Where Is the Rest Here Incentive Valid

Resto Qui applies to specific municipalities located in the Lazio, Marche and Umbria regions, which are part of the Seismic Crater, as well as to several smaller marine and lagoon islands in the Center-North, such as Lido, Ponza, Ventotene, and other islands of the Venetian lagoon and the lakes of Garda, Iseo and Trasimeno.

Who Can Apply for the Rest Here Incentive

The
Resto Qui incentives are intended for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs under 56 residing in the municipalities of the Seismic Crater or in other eligible areas. For some municipalities with buildings that are more than 50% unusable, there are no age restrictions. Incentives are also available for those who intend to start new professional activities in these areas

Requirements to Access Rest Here 2024

To access the incentives, you must be between 18 and 55 years old (without age restrictions in some areas of the Seismic Crater), be a resident or move to the affected areas within 60 days of the approval of the request (120 days if you reside abroad) and not have an indefinite employment relationship. Furthermore, you must not already own other business activities as of 21 June 2017, nor have benefited from other benefits for self-entrepreneurship in the last three years

How Does Resto Qui 2024 Work

Resto Qui 2024 provides that 50% of the incentives consist of non-repayable contributions, while the remaining 50% is bank financing guaranteed by the Guarantee Fund for SMEs, with interest paid by Invitalia. Incentives can cover up to 100% of the expenses to start or develop the business, with a maximum of 50,000 euros per individual applicant and up to 200,000 euros per company. There is also an additional non-repayable contribution for working capital requirements, equal to 15,000 euros for sole proprietorships and up to 40,000 euros per
company.

How to Apply for Rest Here 2024

Applications for Resto Qui 2024 must be submitted online through the Invitalia portal, after registration. The evaluation process takes place based on the chronological order in which the applications arrive. Those interested can request up to 100% of the funding necessary to start or develop their business in eligible areas

Resto Qui 2024 does not have a predefined deadline; applications can be submitted until available funds are exhausted. It is therefore advisable to submit your request as soon as possible to have a better chance of obtaining financing
