A positive semester for Piquadro

Piquadro, a well-known Italian company in the leather goods sector, recently published financial data for the first half of fiscal year 2024/25. With a consolidated revenue of 87.8 million euros, the company recorded an increase of 2.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. This result is particularly significant, considering global economic challenges and exchange rate fluctuations.
The Piquadro brand, in particular, saw its revenues reach 39.8 million euros, an increase of 0.8%.

Analysis of sales channels

An interesting aspect to note is the performance of the different sales channels. The wholesale channel, which represents about 61.7% of the total sales of the Piquadro brand, showed a growth of 2.1%. This data highlights the importance of this channel for the company’s commercial strategy. On the other hand, The Bridge brand recorded revenues of 16.8 million euros, an increase of 1.5%. Again, the wholesale channel saw an increase of 3.6%, while the DOS channel registered a growth of 3.5%

Geographic performance and future prospects

Geographically, the results have been mixed. In Italy, sales decreased by 2.0%, to 40.9 million euros. However, in Europe, sales grew by 8.6%, reaching 44.1 million euros. This suggests that, while the domestic market is struggling, opportunities for growth abroad are increasing.
