Economic aid is provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution of up to 70% of eligible expenses, with a maximum limit of 70,000
euros for each project.

The submission of applications is open until September 17, 2024, following the rules established by the regional call published on 21 June 2024. The total financial budget of the call, financed through regional funds FESR Veneto 2021-2027,
amounts to 1,109,000 euros.

Who are entitled to the contributions

Non-repayable contributions are intended for:

  • Natural persons acting as business promoters.
  • SMEs — small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Freelancers or self-employed workers.

To access contributions, interested parties must meet the requirements specified in article 4 of the announcement. The interventions must be carried out in the territory of the Veneto region, in relation to the local unit or operational headquarters of the applicant.

How do contributions work for new cultural, creative and audiovisual enterprises

The call provides for an “on demand” evaluation procedure, in which interested parties submit a business project and request financial aid to start the new business. Projects must promote generational change, diversification in the production system and create new employment opportunities

The activities eligible for non-repayable contributions belong to the sectors indicated by the ATECO codes listed in the announcement. The Veneto region will evaluate the projects according to the established criteria and, within 120 days from the closing of the public notice, will publish the ranking of beneficiaries. The projects must be completed no later than November 3, 2026

The contribution will be disbursed by advance, down payment and balance, following the methods and timing set out in the PR FESR procedural manual.

How much are the contributions

Non-repayable contributions cover up to 70% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of 70,000 euros per project. The minimum value of the project must be 15,000 euros and cannot exceed 100,000 euros
.

Eligible expenses include the purchase of tangible and intangible assets, specialist advice, personnel expenses and general expenses, as specified in article 6 of the announcement.

How to apply

The application for support must be submitted exclusively electronically through the Unified Information System (SIU) of the Veneto region. After confirming the electronic application, it will be necessary to download the form in PDF format, digitally sign it and attach it among the mandatory documents
of the online application.

The deadline for submitting applications is open at 10:00 on July 4, 2024 and will close at 17:00 on September 17, 2024.
