This program offers university students and recent graduates the opportunity to carry out training and work experiences at the headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, with a monthly salary of 1,200 euros.

Trainee Activities
Interns will assist in drafting and preparing official documents, researching and analyzing media, as well as providing technical and administrative support. They will also be able to participate in monthly briefings with expert staff and visits to external institutions

Requirements to Participate
To apply for NATO 2024 internships, you must meet the following general requirements:
- Minimum age of 21
- Citizenship of a NATO member country
- Be university students (at least in the third year of studies) or recent graduates (first level degree obtained less than a year ago) or enrolled in a master’s degree or doctorate program
Duration and Compensation
Duration of the Internships
NATO internships generally last 6 months with full-time commitment and have two possible start dates: March and September. During the internship, the selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of 1,217 Euro
.
Additional Benefits
Trainees can take advantage of a travel expense reimbursement of up to 1,200 Euro, which includes prepaid plane or train tickets or a refund for travel expenses by car. In addition, they are entitled to 15 days of vacation during the internship semester

Selection Process
Selection Phases
Applications for participation will be collected and evaluated in the months of May and June. Candidates considered suitable will be contacted for selection interviews, which will take place between July and September. Those who pass the selection will receive an internship offer letter and can start the internship in the months of March or September of the following year
