How to Open a Chart on MT4 PC
The most common method to open MT4 charts is to use Files in the top menu bar.
The detailed steps are as follows:
- Click File in the top menu bar -> select New Chart.
- Click on the tool you want to see the chart. If the tool you want to view is not available. Click on Forex major/Forex minor to see the full list of assets on MT4.
Then, the chart appears immediately in the Chart window.
Alternatively, you can also open the chart from the Market Watch window or the Standard toolbar.
Right-click the resource that you want to display the chart > select Chart Window. The chart is displayed immediately. Or quickly click the left mouse button on the asset, hold down the mouse, and drag and drop into the Chart window.
