Trust Wallet allows you to store cryptocurrencies and use decentralized exchanges like PancakeSwap.

Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and search for “Trust Wallet”.

Then, download Trust Wallet and create a new wallet.

In the process of creating the wallet, you will be given a recovery phrase.

The recovery phrase is like your password that is used to access your wallet.

So, you need to make sure that you copy and paste the recovery phrase to a safe place.

Finally, you need to check the recovery phrase.

Just drag and drop the words in the correct order.

After verifying the recovery phrase, your wallet will be created successfully.

2. Copy your Smart Chain address to Trust Wallet

In Trust Wallet, go to your wallet.

On your wallet, you will see a list of cryptocurrencies.

Tap “Smart Chain” to open your Smart Chain wallet.

On your Smart Chain wallet, you will see four icons including “Send”, “Receive”, “Copy” and “More”.

Now, you need to buy some BNB.

This is because you can only buy the HODL token with BNB.

You can buy BNB on Trust Wallet or a cryptocurrency exchange like Binance.

However, it is highly recommended to buy BNB on Binance instead of Trust Wallet.

This is because providers on Trust Wallet charge a very high fee of up to 5%.

On the other hand, Binance has a spot trading fee of 0.1%.

First, install the Binance app on the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you are on the app, you need to create a new account.

You can use the referral link or code above to create a Binance account.

After creating an account, go to “BNB” and buy a minimum of 0.1 BNB.

4. Transfer BNB from Binance to Trust Wallet

After purchasing BNB from Binance, you need to transfer it to your Smart Chain wallet on Trust Wallet.

This is because you need to exchange BNB for HODL on Trust Wallet later.

First, go to your wallet on Binance.

Then, tap “BNB” to open your BNB wallet.

On your BNB wallet, tap “Withdraw”.

After tapping “Withdraw”, the “Withdraw BNB” page will open.

There are multiple fields on the page including “Address”, “Network” and “Amount”.

First, paste the address of your Smart Chain wallet from Trust Wallet into the “Address” field.

You should have copied your BNB wallet address from Trust Wallet in the second step.

In the “Network” field, make sure that “BEP20 (BSC)” is selected.

If not, tap on the field and change it to “BEP20 (BSC)”.

Then, enter the amount of BNB you want to withdraw.

Minimally, you need to withdraw 0.1 BNB.

Finally, tap “Withdraw” to transfer your BNB to your Smart Chain wallet to Trust Wallet.

5. Copy the address of the HODL contract

Now, you need to copy the address of the HODL contract.

First, go to CoinMarketCap.com and search for “HODL”.

Alternatively, you can visit the HODL token here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hodl/.

On the “Manage” page, you will see a list of cryptocurrencies that you can enable/disable.

Enabled cryptocurrencies will be displayed on your wallet.

On the other hand, disabled cryptocurrencies will not appear on your wallet.

In the search bar, paste the address of the HODL contract.

You should have copied the address of the HODL contract in the fifth step.

Finally, tap on the switch icon to add HODL to your wallet on Trust Wallet.

This way, you will be able to see your HODL balance if you buy it.

7. Enable DApp browser on Trust Wallet

If this is your first time using Trust Wallet, you need to enable the DApp browser.

Otherwise, you won’t be able to use decentralized exchanges on the app (like PancakeSwap).

First, open a browser like Safari or Chrome.

Then, paste this into the browser’s URL field, “trust://browser_enable” (without quotation marks).

Then, look for it and open the page on Trust Wallet.

After opening the page on Trust Wallet, the DApp browser will be enabled.

8. Exchange BNB for HODL on PancakeSwap

Now that you have enabled the DApp browser on Trust Wallet, you will see a “Browser” icon in the bottom navigation bar of the app.

Tap on the “Browser” icon to browse decentralized applications.

Then, scroll down until you reach the “Popular” header.

Under the heading “Popular”, you will see “PancakeSwap”.

Tap “PancakeSwap” to open PancakeSwap.

If you are on PancakeSwap for the first time, you need to connect it to Trust Wallet.

Otherwise, you will not be able to exchange BNB for HODL.

First, tap on the “Connect” button on the top navigation bar.

After tapping on the “Connect” button, the “Connect to a wallet” pop-up will open.

In the pop-up, you will see several wallets that you can connect to.

These wallets include “Metamask”, “TrustWallet”, “MathWallet” and more.

Tap “TrustWallet” to connect Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap.

After connecting Trust Wallet to PancakeSwap, you will be able to exchange tokens for BNB.

To begin with, make sure you are on the Binance Chain.

Secondly, set the “From” field to “BNB”.

This is because you need to exchange BNB for HODL.

Then, in the “To” field, tap on “Select a currency”.

Next, paste the hodl contract address into the “Search name or paste address” field and tap “Add”.

This will import HODL into PancakeSwap.

Third, specify the amount of BNB you want to exchange with HODL.

Before swapping, be sure to increase your slippage tolerance to prevent the transaction from failing.

Finally, tap “Swap” to exchange BNB for HODL!

You have successfully learned how to buy HODL coin/token on Trust Wallet and PancakeSwap!

If you added HODL to your wallet on Trust Wallet in the sixth step, you will be able to see your HODL balance.
