What is the 2024 Fire Department Salary Increase
The salary increase for firefighters in 2024 represents a gross increase of 5.8% thanks to the renewal of the CCNL for the three-year period 2022 2024. The resources allocated by the 2024 Budget Law, equal to 8 billion euros out of a total of 24 billion, will guarantee this increase and other protections for staff in the sector

Who Is It Addressed To
The salary increase is allocated to approximately 38,820 fire brigade personnel, including simple firefighters and figures with specific professional qualifications. These figures provide essential services such as public rescue, fire prevention and fire surveillance

How Much Does the Salary Increase by
The salary of firefighters will increase by 5.8%, with a monthly increase of between 115 and 110 euros. Considering that the average annual wage for these workers is around 27,000 euros, this is a significant increase that will become effective once the contract is concluded

How Does Raising Wages Work
The increase in salaries will be paid directly to the payroll as soon as the new CCNL is renewed. The established amounts will be automatically credited and reported on the payslip, without the need
to apply.
When Do the Increases Come
The increase will take effect with the final approval of the new CCNL by the Ministry for Public Administration, trade unions and the Council of Ministers. The first meeting was held on July 15, 2024 and the next one is scheduled for July 23, 2024.
