Consolidated net profit of the Unipol Group
The Unipol Group recently announced financial results for the first nine months of 2024, showing a consolidated net profit of 724 million euros. This figure takes into account the contribution of investments in BPER and BPSO, applied with the equity method, limited to the first half of the year. If we consider the homogeneous period result, the profit amounted to 834 million euros, a positive sign for the insurance group
led by Cimbri.
Growth in direct insurance inflows
In the first nine months of 2024, direct insurance inflows reached 11,416 million euros, showing an increase of 8% compared to 10,570 million euros in the same period of the previous year. This increase is even more significant if we consider the homogeneous perimeter, with an increase of 9.1%. The performance in the Non-Life Sector is particularly significant, with a collection of 6,488 million euros, up 6.8% compared to the 6,074 million euros recorded in
2023.
Future prospects and market analysis
The positive result of the Unipol Group in the first nine months of 2024 is indicative of an effective strategy and careful management of resources. The growth in direct inflows in the insurance sector suggests a recovery in consumer confidence and an increase in demand for insurance policies. In addition, the excellent performance of the financial results could attract additional investments and consolidate the group’s market position. With its focus on future challenges, Unipol seems well positioned to face the dynamics of the insurance market and continue to grow
