The 2025 disability reform provides for fundamental changes in the process of recognizing civil disability, both for the disabled and for their families. Here are the main changes:

Who Are the News of the Reformation for
The changes introduced by the reform will initially apply to those who apply for an assessment of the condition of disability and civil disability starting from January 1, 2025, in the nine provinces selected for experimentation: Brescia, Catanzaro, Florence, Forlì-Cesena, Frosinone, Perugia, Salerno, Sassari and Trieste. When Do Disability Reform Measures Take Effect
The provisions of the disability reform, contained in the Decree of 3 May 2024, will be implemented gradually starting from 2025.
