Copper Dome project expands land package and advances priority targets

The following provides an update from Canada One Mining Corp. on its 100% owned Copper Dome Project near Princeton, British Columbia, released on April 1, 2026. The company reports an expanded land position, a multi-year drilling permit and recently collected rock samples that add fresh technical information to an evolving exploration picture. Management emphasizes the project’s proximity to the operating Copper Mountain Mine (owned by Hudbay Minerals) and the broader lower Quesnel Trough porphyry belt as major strategic advantages for ongoing work.

This update synthesizes historical data, recent field observations and planned follow-up activities while preserving technical context. Where relevant, historical work and legacy drill results are noted as non-NI 43-101 compliant and require verification through new drilling. All fall 2026 rock samples from the property were submitted to ALS Geochemistry – Kamloops for analysis, and assay results are expected to be released in April. A qualified person, Ali Wasiliew, P.Geo, has reviewed the technical information presented.

Project snapshot and strategic advantages

The Copper Dome Project now covers approximately 12,833 hectares following the acquisition of the Copper Dome North block (4,836 hectares) and additional staking to the east. This larger footprint provides room to evaluate multiple mineralized corridors adjacent to the active Copper Mountain Mine, which Hudbay reports as having Proven and Probable reserves of 367 Mt grading 0.25% Cu, 0.12 g/t Au and 0.69 g/t Ag. The project benefits from year-round access and nearby infrastructure, improving the logistical and cost profile for exploration. With a five-year drill permit now in place, the company has the regulatory flexibility to refine targets and advance the most compelling zones toward drill-ready status.

Priority target zones

Boundary Zone

The Boundary Zone is highlighted as a primary drill focus due to its scale and geochemical footprint. Previous work delineated a north-northeast trending corridor of copper-gold anomalism roughly 1,000 m by 1,750 m, remaining open toward the adjacent mine. Numerous mobile metal ion copper values exceed 10,000 ppb, and elevated potassium indicates potassic alteration, both features commonly associated with porphyry-style copper systems. Collectively, these signatures underpin the Boundary Zone as a high-priority area for additional mapping, sampling and eventual drilling.

Combination Creek and Friday Creek

The property also hosts the Combination Creek Zone, which carries historical diamond drilling totaling 5,732 m in 22 holes. Notable intercepts include 20 m of 0.64% Cu (hole PT-12-26) and 69 m of 0.21% Cu (hole PT-11-21), demonstrating substantive copper mineralization in the system. At Friday Creek, both historical and recent surface work have returned high-grade rock values—up to 10.65% Cu, 4.89 g/t Au and 10.40 g/t Pd—and field crews observed bornite and chalcopyrite hosted within strong potassic alteration. Assays from samples collected in fall 2026 will be disclosed in April and are expected to further inform drill targeting.

Reco target: high-grade potential

The Reco target introduces a significant high-grade element to the property. Recent rock samples reported include values up to 9.96 g/t Au, 9.62 g/t Ag and 0.78% Cu, plus additional samples containing 8.17 g/t Au with elevated silver and copper. Historical work in the Haul Road area has also produced exceptional select samples, including a high of 93.3 g/t Au, suggesting that structurally controlled, higher-grade mineralization could complement the broader porphyry-style targets on the property.

Field work, historical data and next steps

During the 2026 Phase 2 field program, crews established 53 field stations across the property and collected 29 rock samples, recording visible copper sulphides in multiple locations. Historical datasets on the project include approximately 51 km of induced polarization geophysics, airborne magnetic and EM coverage over about half the property, more than 2,253 soil samples and 378 rock samples, plus over 8,900 m of past diamond drilling and more than 1 km of trenching. Planned 2026 work includes expanded prospecting, mapping and systematic sampling at Reco and additional infill exploration across the Boundary and Friday Creek zones to refine drill targets under the current five-year drill permit.

Quality assurance and oversight

All fall 2026 rock samples were submitted to ALS Geochemistry – Kamloops using PGM-ICP24 (50 g fire assay for gold and platinum group elements) and ME-MS61 (multi-element ICP-MS) methods for base and pathfinder elements. Historical information referenced in this update is described as historical work and is not NI 43-101 compliant; a qualified person has reviewed available records for reasonableness, and further verification through new drilling is required. Canada One also acknowledges that the Copper Dome Project sits within the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Smelqmix People, and the company recognizes their continuing relationship with the land.

This release contains forward-looking information about exploration plans, expected assay timing and future drilling. Such statements are subject to risks and uncertainties, and actual outcomes may differ materially. Readers are advised to consider the cautionary language and not place undue reliance on forward-looking statements. Technical disclosure in this update has been reviewed by Ali Wasiliew, P.Geo, the company’s independent Qualified Person for National Instrument 43-101 purposes.
