2024 car incentives represent an important opportunity for those who want to buy a vehicle with low environmental impact. These bonuses were introduced to support the ecological transition and encourage the purchase of electric, hybrid and low-CO2 cars. In this guide, we’ll show you what incentives are still available, who they’re entitled to and how they work
.
What are 2024 car incentives
2024 car incentives are state contributions that offer discounts on the purchase of vehicles with reduced environmental impact. These grants, introduced with the Prime Ministerial Decree of 20 May 2024, mainly concern the purchase of electric cars, plug-in hybrids and thermal cars with low emissions, encouraging the reduction of CO2 emissions. The incentives vary based on the vehicle’s emissions, with a maximum ceiling of 13,750 euros
.
In addition to supporting the purchase of new vehicles, incentives are also provided for the installation of LPG and methane systems, and for the long-term rental of environmentally friendly vehicles.
